Field CTO, Data and AI

Senior technical leader in Salesforce's EMEA GTM, shaping Data & AI strategy for Agentforce and Data360. You influence C-suite decisions, drive architecture in complex deals, and develop reusable assets that accelerate field outcomes. You’ll balance hands-on practice with strategic storytelling, building a trusted advisory presence across customers, partners, and internal teams. • Provide Thought Leadership and Industry Presence across EMEA via events, publications, and external engagements
• Lead Strategic Architecture in complex deal cycles, engaging C-level stakeholders and delivering rapid architectural validation
• Develop reusable assets, reference architectures, and playbooks to scale architectural impact across the field
• Coach and elevate other Technical Architects through IP contribution and program leadership
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Enablement to translate field insights into roadmap inputs
• Act as long-term trusted advisor to strategic customers and support post-sale adoption and enablement
• Represent Salesforce's architectural POV with external ecosystem stakeholders (partners, analysts, press)
• Architect data & AI solutions, including data modelling, identity resolution, real-time vs batch patterns, and activation strategies
• Integrate external agents from hyperscalers into Agentforce via open standards (MCP, A2A) and guide enterprise integration

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or technical pre-sales in Data and AI
• Deep expertise across data platforms, AI/ML, Generative AI, and agentic architectures including Salesforce products
• Experience engaging C-level executives as trusted technical advisor
• Proven track record in presenting at industry events and publishing technical leadership
• Ability to design and deliver reusable technical assets at scale
• Fluency in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and agent lifecycle management
• Hands-on programming skills (Python, JavaScript, SQL) and data frameworks
• Understanding of MCP and A2A external agent interoperability standards
• Experience in complex, matrixed enterprise environments in multiple EMEA markets
• Excellent communication skills with board-level storytelling
• Fluent English; additional EMEA languages beneficial
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
