Description

Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Field Technology Support Analyst to support the execution of our CRU Refresh Project. Reporting directly to the Delivery Lead of Technology Experience, you will play a key role in delivering, installing, and configuring specialized banking devices across branch locations. In this role, you will act as both a technical specialist and a trusted advisor—ensuring hardware is seamlessly deployed and local team members feel confident and supported using their new equipment. Based on the responsibilities and qualifications, the role is much more than a generic Support Analyst. It combines field deployment, banking technology implementation, hardware support, user training, and project rollout coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware Deployment & Installation: Transport, set up, configure, and test Cash Recycling Units (CRUs) and associated banking hardware according to project specifications.
  • On-Site Team Support & Training: Conduct hands‑on walkthroughs with branch staff during go‑live to build comfort, address technical questions, and minimize operational downtime.
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Adhere to deployment schedules, complete assigned tasks within established timelines, and escalate technical risks or issues to project leads.
  • Asset Tracking & Logistics: Assist with hardware inventory tracking, device intake/decommissioning, and field documentation during rollout phases.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in IT desktop support, field services, or hardware deployment roles.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting end‑user hardware and peripheral devices. Direct experience with Cash Recycling Units (CRUs) or specialized banking equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working within a bank, credit union, or financial branch environment, with an understanding of branch operations and security protocols.
  • Proven track record executing site readiness checks, hardware swap‑outs, post‑installation testing, and user onboarding in active business environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply, reassure non‑technical team members, and maintain a calm, supportive posture during technology changes.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full flexibility to travel to regional branch sites as dictated by the deployment schedule.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Post‑secondary Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (preferred)
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or vendor‑specific hardware certifications are considered strong assets. Equivalent practical field experience will also be evaluated. (preferred)
