Finance Analyst Financial Reporting

Analyze financial data for Pattison Food Group Ltd. in Langley, BC, using advanced Excel skills to support accurate reporting and decisions.

This full-time temporary Finance Analyst assignment lasts 20 months and reports to the Manager, Finance. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, interpret trends, and provide insights. The position supports month-end processes, business performance, and operational efficiency across Pattison Food Group Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and resolve financial statement discrepancies
• Coordinate large Excel datasets and identify actionable insights
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual statement variances
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Support month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and special projects

Requirements:

• Three to five years’ financial accounting or auditing experience
• Retail environment experience is ideally preferred
• CPA designation or equivalent industry experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• Curiosity, organization, communication, and analytical skills
