Finance Data Associate

In this role you will support governance around data issues within the Finance Data Issues Management team. You will collaborate with Finance colleagues and global partners to document processes, ensure data issue reporting is complete and accurate, and help drive improvements through automation. The position sits in a growing Glasgow team, offering the chance to shape the function and gain exposure across the Firm. You will contribute to risk controls and data governance while communicating with stakeholders at multiple levels.

• Deliver individual and team projects leveraging Finance knowledge and tools
• Adhere to risk, regulatory standards, policies and controls
• Act as a culture carrier and uphold Firm standards
• Document internal processes and controls for data issues management
• Liaise with Finance data issue owners to ensure reporting completeness and accuracy
• Prepare high-quality materials for internal forums and senior management
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Alteryx and AI Tools desirable
• Understanding/experience of Data Governance and/or Data Issues Management desirable
• At least 2 years' relevant experience
