Overview

In this role you will help build and govern enterprise finance data platforms that feed ERP-derived data into reporting, analytics and AI. You work hands-on across data modelling, pipeline development, testing and reconciliation to ensure ledger accuracy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable CFO-focused insights and scalable, AI-enabled finance solutions. The opportunity combines technical platform work with business-facing delivery in a fast-growing finance reinvention practice.

Responsibilities
  • Build and test the finance data platform, including data ingestion, conformed core, curated datasets and data products
  • Design, implement and validate data pipelines and transformations with emphasis on cost efficiency
  • Integrate finance data with ERP estates (SAP, Oracle) and manage subledgers, GL, consolidation, close and reconciliation tooling
  • Implement ETL/ELT and API patterns, including batch and CDC feeds, and manage master data changes
  • Develop governance, lineage and documentation; ensure platform outputs reconcile with the ledger
  • Create and test analytics, reporting and semantic definitions for consistent metrics
  • Support AI use cases on the platform (forecasting, anomaly detection, AI-generated commentary) and participate in design discussions
  • Lead and participate in client workshops; produce clear analysis and options; manage scope and expectations
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks or Palantir Foundry) and understanding of data layers
  • Experience moving financial data from ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) into reporting/analytics and reconciling it
  • Experience building management reporting or analytics on platform data
  • Knowledge of SQL, APIs and modern data-integration technologies; some exposure to Python or ML platforms
  • Understanding of chart-of-accounts, enterprise structure and finance master data
  • Relevant cloud-data or AI certifications, or a professional finance or accounting qualification
  • Strong delivery skills in workshops, client settings and design work
