Finance Director

Finatal has partnered with a well-established, founder-owned hospitality business operating across the South of England. With ambitious growth plans and a strong presence in the sports and leisure sector, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the next phase of the business's expansion.

They are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Finance Director who can balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day oversight of the finance function. The successful candidate will be confident managing investor reporting and banking relationships, while driving financial performance and supporting the wider growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and develop a high-performing team.
• Oversee financial planning, reporting, forecasting, controls and compliance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk.
• Partner with senior leadership on commercial strategy and business performance.
• Support investment decisions, acquisitions, fundraising and site expansion.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders and key stakeholders.
• Deliver scalable financial systems, processes and improvements.
• Prepare board reporting and provide strategic financial insight.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years' PQE.
• Proven senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Experience supporting growth within a multi-site business.
• Confident managing stakeholders, investors and senior leadership.
• Strong financial controls, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Hands-on, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Hospitality, leisure or consumer sector experience advantageous.
