Finance Manager

1.Preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.

2.Maintain reconciliations/working papers for all balance sheet accounts and selected P&L accounts. (This function includes maintaining accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and fixed asset subledgers).

3.Daily Bank Reconciliations.

4.Monthly GST/HST filings.

5.Maintenance of monthly exchange rates

6.Preparation of year end audit package

7.Preparation and filing of year end tax returns.

8.Liaison with Auditors, banks, government agencies.

9.Supply data and reconciliations for Federal Audits as required.

Accounts Receivable

1.Customer invoicing (both product and services)

2.Customer payment posting

3.Customer set up in QuickBooks computer system

4.Review of customer accounts and associated collection requirements.

5.Set up of customer accounts receivable insurance.

6.Access various EDI portals for reports and customer issues.

Accounts Payable

1.Vendor set up in QuickBooks computer system.

3.Process Payments in QuickBooks.

Payroll and Benefits

1.Process bi-weekly payroll.

2.Year end payroll review and filings.

3.Maintenance of employee files.

4.Set up and maintenance of employees on both payroll and benefits suppliers computer systems.

5.Provide employees with employment verification letters as required.

Inventory & Services

1.Set up and maintenance of products and warehouse.

2.Landed Cost calculations for inventory receipt.

QuickBooks (Company Computer system)

1.Set up users and roles

2.System maintenance (templates, memorized transactions, exchange rates, term codes…).

3.Preparation management and sales reports.

Additional tasks and responsibilities:

-Maintain and improve financial systems (QuickBooks/ERP)

-Establish data integrity across finance, sales, and supply chain

-Build automation and reporting dashboards (Power BI / Excel)

-Improve process scalability as volume grows

-Develops financial and tax strategies

-Develop KPIs aligned with strategic goals (margin, trade spend, velocity, inventory turns)

-Accountability for company EBITA targets

oBuild profitability models by brand, channel, client(scenario analysis)

oSupport trade spend optimization

-Establishes and implements pricing governance

-Manages capital and major purchase requests, while maintaining the company budget

-Optimize inventory cycles in tandem with Sales and Supply chain

-Lead financial input into: Customer negotiations, Distributor structures, Promotion planning
