Finance Manager

THE COMPANY
A Series C fintech (18m ARR, 80+ team) with a clear runway to profitability and an FCA-authorised product live in the UK and EU. Tier-1 investors, modern engineering culture, central London office.

THE ROLE
Hands-on Finance Manager owning the day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, with a clear, written succession plan to FC inside 18 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the monthly close (target: working day 5) and produce the management accounts pack.
• Lead a team of three (Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, AP Lead).
• Manage the year-end audit process with the external auditors.
• Partner with the commercial team on the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
• Drive automation of the finance stack (Xero NetSuite migration starts Q2).
• Own regulatory financial reporting to the FCA.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL
• ACA / ACCA qualified, 2–4 years PQE.
• Audit-trained (Big 4 or top-10 firm).
• Strong technical accounting under IFRS.
• Experience in a high-growth fintech, SaaS or scale-up environment.
• Comfortable being hands-on while developing a small team.

DESIRABLE
• Prior exposure to FCA reporting.
• NetSuite implementation experience.
• Advanced Excel / SQL.
