Finance Manager

We are helping our manufacturing client in North Brampton with a Finance Manager search. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with benefits, bonus, RRSP matching and more. Looking for someone with 5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager and leadership team as the finance lead, providing strategic financial guidance and business support.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes while monitoring key financial performance metrics.
• Analyze financial results against forecast, budget, and prior year, including Price/Volume/Mix (PVM) analysis and profitability trends.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Provide actionable insights by identifying business risks, opportunities, and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and reporting processes through automation and BI tools.
• Build strong relationships across the business by coaching non-finance stakeholders and driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related field
• Professional designation (CPA / CMA / CA) or equivalent preferred
• 5–8+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience
• Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX)
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
