Job Description

• Manage day-to-day finance activities to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Prepare and review financial reports to give clear insight into performance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activity to support effective financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance and highlight key trends for informed decision-making.
• Maintain strong financial controls and clear finance processes.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to provide practical financial guidance.
• Review management information and present findings in a clear, accessible format.
• Support the ongoing improvement of finance systems and reporting processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Finance Manager' should have:

• Fully qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Experience withing Housing/ Not for Profit sectors.
• Experience managing a broad range of finance activities.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting capability.
• Confidence interpreting financial data and explaining key findings clearly.
• A practical approach to maintaining financial controls and improving processes.
• The ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams.
