Finance Manager

As Finance Manager you will own financial control for the UK & Ireland business within a growing, PE-backed manufacturing group. You collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate reporting, robust governance and regulatory compliance. You’ll tackle high-impact areas like balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and audits, while driving improvements to controls. This role offers meaningful influence in a hands-on, detail-focused environment and the chance to shape financial processes at scale.

• Financial control: maintain balance sheet integrity, oversee reconciliations and strengthen internal controls
• Statutory reporting: prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP and manage regulatory filings
• Audit and governance: lead external/internal audits, maintain SOX controls and remediate findings
• Tax compliance: manage corporation tax, VAT and UK & Ireland reporting obligations

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• strong technical accounting knowledge
• training in a Top 10 practice (desirable)
• hands-on financial control experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
• experience managing audits
• SOX exposure or multinational group structures
