Finance Manager

In this Finance Manager role you will lead the finance function within a growing manufacturing business, overseeing transactional and management accounting while supporting HR administration and reporting. You will deliver monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flow, VAT, credit control, audit support and group reporting, driving improvements to systems and processes. You will also manage payroll administration and headcount reporting, coordinating with local and international stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure to the business and growth initiatives.

• Own the finance function for the business and oversee transactional and management accounting
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgeting and cash flow management
• Handle VAT returns, credit control, audit support and group reporting
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
• Oversee payroll administration, employee records and headcount reporting
• Manage administrative support and act as contact for local operations and international stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior management on financial insights and business improvements

• ACCA/CIMA or qualified through significant practical experience
• Strong background in management accounting and month-end processes
• Cash flow management and financial reporting experience
• Experience in SME or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with Sage and advanced Excel
