We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager tojoin our team in Timmins.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial andaccounting functions across the AE Group and will work closely with the CEO andmanagement team to support sound financial management, reporting, planning, andbusiness decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accountingfunctions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll,general ledger, reconciliations, and inventory transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, andannual financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting andforecasting processes and monitor results against approved budgets.
  • Maintain strong financialcontrols, policies, procedures, and accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicablelegislation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate year-end processes andwork with external accountants and auditors.
  • Monitor cash flow and providefinancial information and recommendations to support operational andstrategic decisions.
  • Assist the CEO and managementteam with financial planning, risk management, business development, andoperational improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improvefinancial processes, systems, reporting, and efficiencies across theorganization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or CollegeDiploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relatedfield, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressivefull-cycle accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experiencewith QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge financialreporting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with budgeting,forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls.
  • Strong organizational,analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently,manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy,professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Experience working with multiple companies, funding programs, or externalauditors is considered an asset.
