Finance Manager Client Billing Toronto

Own client billing and reconciliations as Finance Manager at Context Creative in Toronto, with hybrid in-office and remote work.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage day-to-day finance operations for a purpose-driven communications and design agency. Your work spans accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow reporting, month-end close, HST filings, and corporate tax instalments. You will partner with Client Partnership, Operations, and Project Management teams to keep billing accurate and projects financially aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own monthly client billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile prebills, accrued revenue, forecasts, and actual billing
• Manage accounts payable and vendor payments accurately
• Prepare weekly cash flow reporting and reconcile bank activity
• Support month-end, year-end close, audits, and financial requests

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Around 7–9 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Hands-on client billing and reconciliation experience in project-focused environments
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP accounting systems
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, organization, and communication skills
