Finance Manager Client Billing Toronto

Lead client billing and reconciliations as Finance Manager at Context Creative in Toronto, with hybrid work across office and remote settings.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage daily finance operations for a purpose-driven communications and design agency. Your work spans accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, cash flow reporting, month-end close, HST filings, and corporate tax instalments. You will collaborate with Client Partnership, Operations, and Project Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own monthly client billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile prebills, accrued revenue, forecasts, and actual billing
• Manage accounts payable and vendor payments accurately
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports and reconcile bank activity
• Support year-end close, audits, and financial process training

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Around 7–9 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Hands-on client billing and reconciliation experience in project or media environments
• NetSuite or comparable ERP accounting system experience
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace skills
