Finance Manager Month-End Payroll

Lead full-cycle accounting, payroll, and cash management as a Finance Manager on a five-month contract. Work independently across daily finance operations.

This Finance Manager oversees accounting operations, month-end close, payroll, cash flow, and regulatory compliance. The role suits an experienced accounting professional comfortable managing Canadian and U.S. payroll, reconciliations, reporting, and multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Process Canadian and U.S. semi-monthly payroll
• Lead month-end close and prepare journal entries
• Manage cash flow, bank transactions, and collections
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant experience
• Strong full-cycle accounting and month-end close knowledge
• Experience processing Canadian and U.S. payroll
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and analytical work
