Finance Manager Winnipeg Accounting Operations

Lead finance operations at Transdev Manitoba in Winnipeg, using accounting expertise and financial reporting skills in a full-time office-based role.

This experienced Finance Manager leads the Winnipeg Finance team and reports to the General Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Director of Finance. The position oversees general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll support, budgeting, and forecasting. You will partner with Ontario and Manitoba Finance Operations, maintain internal controls, and provide insights supporting business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger activities and complete financial records
• Manage payables, receivables, billing, and accounting functions
• Prepare statements, variance analyses, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate audits and prepare supporting documentation
• Lead, coach, and develop the Winnipeg Finance team

Requirements:

• College diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum four years progressive accounting experience
• Two to three years leadership or supervisory experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong GAAP knowledge
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
