Finance Operations and Fraud Analyst

Monitor high-value gift card transactions and strengthen fraud prevention at Giftbit, working remotely across Canada or from Victoria, British Columbia.

As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will own daily financial operations supporting supplier and customer accounts. Your work combines transaction monitoring, fraud investigations, reconciliations, payments, and clear financial communication. You will collaborate closely with the Controller and report to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor gift card and prepaid card transactions for suspicious activity
• Investigate fraud cases and chargebacks, escalating when appropriate
• Maintain loss prevention processes and documentation
• Manage supplier balances, payments, customer balances, and reconciliations
• Support internal controls and finance operations projects

Requirements:

• One to three years in finance, accounting, or financial operations
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment
• Accountability and ownership in day-to-day work
• Clear, professional communication with customers and suppliers
• Fintech, payments, gift card, or fraud prevention exposure preferred
