Finance Payroll Supervisor

Lead Finance and Payroll operations with advanced Excel skills in an on-site office environment at Tikinagan Child and Family Services. Support clerks and maintain daily workflow.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Finance Supervisor guides, trains, and assists Finance/Payroll Clerks. The position suits candidates with finance or payroll experience, Business or Accounting education, and supervisory experience. It also requires computerized accounting experience, organization, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Finance and Payroll Clerks during daily unit operations
• Guide, train, and assist Finance/Payroll team members
• Provide backup to the other Finance Supervisor
• Improve system and manual workflow processes
• Respond to changing priorities and meet targets

Requirements:

• Experience in Finance/Payroll or Business/Accounting post-secondary education
• Supervisory experience and advanced Excel knowledge
• Experience using a computerized accounting system
• Strong organizational, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and current criminal records check
