• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service
• Deliver CIBC’s Imperial Service approach as a single point of contact for clients
• Help clients plan for immediate needs and future goals, including securing futures, home ownership, and business setup
• Provide tailored advice and solutions across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning
• Cultivate networks to establish new client relationships
• Understand the local market and potential client base to create sales plans and convert leads
• Build relationships and generate opportunities that deliver bottom-line results
• Leverage CIBC credit and investment solutions using a needs-based approach
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to increase CIBC brand awareness
• Work full-time on-site at banking centres

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets
  • Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC), or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC)
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing
  • Quebec pathway: current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing
  • Quebec pathway: successful completion of CIFC or CSC to support AMF licensing
  • Quebec pathway: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC)
  • Legal eligibility to work at the specified location(s)
  • Valid work or study permit where applicable
  • Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance
  • Quebec CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course (0774) and Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790) are assets, not required
