Financial Aid Advisor II

Providing expert guidance on financial aid, the full-time Financial Aid Advisor II will assist new, continuing, and returning students with financial planning, application processes, and compliance with federal and state regulations in a virtual setting. Key responsibilities: Package financial aid for assigned students and communicate plans effectively to students and parents Guide students through the financial aid process, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate Collaborate with Admission Representatives to deliver outstanding service to prospective students and their families Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or Associate's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience in federal and student financial aid Experience in financial aid or accounting is required Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial aid software (Campus Vue/Campus Nexus preferred) Ability to make presentations and interact effectively in one-on-one settings Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
