Financial Analysis Coordinator Nova Scotia

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Northern District, this coordinator supports corporate finance for the organization. The work includes operating and capital budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and analysis. It also addresses service delivery changes, project scope, operational requirements, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate annual operating and capital budget preparation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and management reports
• Analyze trends, variances, and performance indicators
• Support year-end working papers, audits, and financial statements

Requirements:

• Business Administration or Commerce degree, major in accounting
• Three years of related experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Knowledge of GAAP, PSAS, controls, and audit requirements
