Financial Analyst

In this Financial Analyst role you will support a private equity-focused finance team, building and maintaining financial models, forecasting, and reporting across the LLP, funds, and portfolio companies. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO and COO, to translate model outputs into insightful guidance. The position blends modelling, data projects, and documentation, with exposure to portfolio and fund accounting. It offers a pathway into private equity within a high-performing environment, leveraging advanced Excel, SQL, and AI-enabled finance tools to drive commercial decisions.

• Design, build, and maintain financial models and reporting tools for performance analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting across LLP, funds, and portfolio companies
• Participate in presenting outputs of financial models and interpreting data
• Undertake SQL data projects
• Prepare required documentation

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1–2 years PQE
• Prior modelling experience in public practice or asset management
• Advanced MS Excel modelling skills including Power Query
• Knowledge of VBA; familiarity with Power BI desirable
• Experience using AI tools for finance tasks with Excel, data, and code
• Experience in professional services, investment, or corporate environments
• Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
