Financial Analyst Month-End Reporting

Financial Analyst expertise in month-end close and Excel supports Greenfield Global’s Chatham finance team in a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Plant Controller, this Financial Analyst partners with the Chatham team on accurate reporting and disciplined financial management. The position leads assigned work independently while supporting month-end, forecasts, budgets, projects, and management reporting. Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned month-end close activities and plant accounting entries
• Prepare reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain audit trails
• Analyze inventory, capital projects, fixed assets, and accrual accounts
• Support year-end activities, audits, and financial information requests
• Improve monthly financial reporting for leadership

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
• Three to five years of accounting and financial analysis experience
• Knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis skills
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail
