Financial Analyst Monthly Reporting

Analyze project finances and monthly variances as a Financial Analyst in Lethbridge, using Excel and strong analytical skills.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Financial Analyst supports operations through monthly reporting and accounting cycles. The position provides centralized day-to-day support across project analysis, revenue recognition, billing, and financial reporting. It also supports accurate accounting activities throughout each month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project finances and interpret financial results
• Ensure revenue recognition follows applicable accounting standards
• Conduct monthly actual-versus-forecast and budget variance analysis
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc management reports
• Collaborate with billing on project financial health

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• One to three years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
• Collaborative interpersonal and communication abilities
• Vantage Point knowledge considered an asset
