Financial Claims Analyst

About the Opportunity

• Processing financial transactions relating to projects.
• Reviewing and substantiating project budgets and claims and auditing documentation against funding rules.
• Maintaining claims templates, data, dashboards, and processes.
• Communicating with project participants.
• Analyzes claims data for ad-hoc reporting.
• Drives continuous improvement of processes/procedures with the goal of enhancing the overall efficiency of the claims process for all end-users.
• Supports system/platform rollouts and changes.
• Supports various Funding Agencies Advance and Reconciliation processes by:
  • Compiling supporting documentation for reconciliations.
  • Maintaining and providing documentation to corroborate spend.
• Supports other financial reporting and analysis by:
  • Maintaining a strong financial and internal control environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

• 2+ years of handling Financial Analysis duties.
• Strong excel (vlookups, pivot tables minimum), strong analytical skills and critical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.

Pay Range

• $30- $32 per hour
