Financial Controller Accounting Operations

Lead financial operations as Controller, using ASPE knowledge and budgeting expertise to support a career development and educational institution.

This Controller leads accounting operations across the organization and supports other brands. The position oversees reporting, cash flow, financial stewardship, and business decisions. It also offers exposure to private equity, acquisitions, and due diligence while leading an autonomous accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee accurate month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Lead and mentor the finance team

Requirements:

• CPA designated, in progress, or MBA
• Five to ten years of progressive accounting experience
• Assistant Controller or Manager-level experience
• Strong ASPE or IFRS knowledge
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
