Financial Controller Dartmouth

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting as Controller with Prime Material Handling in Dartmouth, NS. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller manages accounting operations and corporate budgets. You will oversee Accounts Receivable, billing, cash collections, reconciliations, and payroll. The position combines financial strategy with hands-on support for daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate monthly financial statements and reports under GAAP
• Establish budgets and analyze actual results against budgets
• Manage daily and weekly cash flow forecasting models
• Supervise and mentor three accounting professionals
• Manage payroll, reconciliations, billing, and cash collections

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
• Five-plus years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Team management and budgeting or forecasting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for modeling and financial analysis
• Strong technical aptitude with ERP systems
