Financial Controller Manufacturing Operations

Lead financial control across industrial automation and manufacturing companies, using technical accounting and project costing expertise. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role.

The Financial Controller oversees accounting and financial control across five or more companies in Canada and the United States. Reporting to the CFO, this hands-on leader manages reporting, costing, working capital, controls, and process improvement. Manufacturing experience and advanced Excel skills are important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting operations across multiple Group companies
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Oversee job costing, inventory accounting, and work in progress
• Establish accounting procedures and effective internal controls

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Five or more years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Manufacturing experience in project-based or custom manufacturing
• Knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, and internal controls
• Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills
