Enhance your financial skills as a Financial Management Assistant with Trent Central Student Association, working part-time to support funding distribution and reconciliation. This role involves task tracking and detailed reports every week.
Reporting to the General Manager and Association Resource Manager, you will assist in managing Association funds from May to April, with flexible hours averaging 8-10 per week. Key responsibilities include distributing financial assistance for various student support programs, using Quickbooks for transaction reconciliation, and chairing the Finance Committee meetings.
Key Responsibilities: • Track and distribute approved student funding assistance • Reconcile income and expense transactions through Quickbooks • Chair the Finance and Operations Committee meetings • Present applications for permanent student support grants • Assist in mandatory training sessions for compliance
Requirements: • Part-time availability of 8-10 hours weekly • Experience with financial tracking or accounting • Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar software • Willingness to participate in mandatory training sessions • Commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives
