Job Description
- Financial Planner provides personalized financial planning and wealth advice to clients.
- This is a full time permanent position with Royal Bank of Canada.
- The role supports future openings across the GTR West area.
- The role focuses on building long term client relationships and growing a personal client portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Review clients’ financial situations and recommend suitable financial plans.
- Provide advice on investment, lending and everyday banking products.
- Grow and manage a portfolio of clients.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through regular financial reviews.
- Develop referral networks with local partners and service teams.
- Meet business targets through value based client relationship management.
Requirements
- Hold a Financial Planning designation such as QAFP, PFP or CFP.
- Hold a Mutual Funds License through IFIC or the Canadian Securities Course.
- Have at least 3 years of work background in financial planning.
- Show strong knowledge of financial planning and client relationship management.
- Show success in networking, client acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Can build a market presence and develop strong relationships.
- Knowing Mandarin or Cantonese languages are an asset.
- Be willing to travel throughout the assigned market when required.
