Financial Planning Analysis Analyst

Support financial planning and decision-making at TC Energy as a Financial Analyst in Calgary, using modeling and cost analysis skills. This hybrid opportunity supports Corporate Services teams.

The Financial Analyst supports planning, analysis, and decisions across Corporate Services functions. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams. The work focuses on financial risks, opportunities, cost drivers, and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
• Provide financial insights and decision support to business leaders
• Analyze workforce and operating costs, risks, and opportunities
• Develop models, business cases, and scenario analyses
• Prepare executive reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis

Requirements:

• Six or more years in FP&A or related finance roles
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and scenario analysis
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills
