Financial Planning Analysis Analyst

Financial planning and analysis skills meet Raytheon ELCAN’s Financial Analyst role in Midland, Ontario, supporting forecasts, reporting, and business decisions.

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, this analyst consolidates ELCAN Mission Area data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. The work includes budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, financial models, and variance analysis. Collaboration with finance and business functions supports accurate, timely information and improved planning tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Develop financial models for business units and projects
• Analyze trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
• Support monthly reporting and management reporting
• Oversee cash forecasting for short- and long-term planning

Requirements:

• University degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, or related field
• Minimum three years’ financial planning and analysis experience
• Working knowledge of computerized financial enterprise resource planning applications
• Advanced Excel skills and manufacturing experience as an asset
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
