Financial Planning Analysis Intern

Build FP&A experience with MLSE in hybrid Toronto work, using advanced Excel skills to analyze reports, forecasts, and business risks.

As a Finance Intern, you will support MLSE’s finance team across business planning, forecasting, accounting, treasury, tax, and strategic planning. You will use Oracle ERP and CRMs while gaining firsthand experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and Treasury Accounting functions. Your analytical approach and attention to detail will support accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reports and variance analyses for FP&A
• Load annual budgets and monthly forecasts into Oracle ERP
• Generate reports supporting data-driven operational decisions
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations
• Review financial data for Board and Audit Committee updates

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Accounting, Finance, or related studies
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Understanding of balance sheets and P&Ls
• Strong analytical approach and attention to detail
• Availability for regular weekday business-hour shifts

Develop FP&A, Oracle ERP, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills while supporting MLSE’s Toronto finance operations.
