Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Analyze financial performance at Kensington Health while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as a permanent full-time business partner. Work across healthcare programs and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst supports full-cycle accounting, reporting activities, and month-end duties. The work includes variance analysis, financial modeling, data validation, and recommendations that support informed decision-making. You will prepare accurate information for corporate and ambulatory programs, funders, and the Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reports and explain budget variances
• Support budgeting and forecasting through operational modeling
• Develop customized reports, indicators, and trend analyses
• Validate general ledger and compensation data
• Prepare closing entries and monthly Ministry revenue reports

Requirements:

• Two to three years of related work experience
• Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Economics
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Pursuing a CPA designation
