  • The candidate will be responsible for working as a strategic member of the Financial Planning team, supporting Financial Planners with pre- and post-interaction enablement, client service, and fulfillment related to financial plans.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maximizing opportunities to identify client needs, make referrals, expand profitable client relationships, and track and review progress against the team’s annual sales plan.
  • The candidate will be responsible for increasing sales enablement for Financial Planners by assisting with client meeting preparation and supporting the fulfilment of credit, investment, and everyday banking solutions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for enabling and educating clients by proactively leading with advice, supporting digital services, and acting as a Digital Ambassador while building digital IQ.
  • The candidate must follow all guidelines and ensure operational risks are addressed promptly.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold Mutual Funds accreditation such as Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • The candidate must perform as a One RBC Advisor with expertise across everyday banking, investments, and credit, delivering a strong Advice Experience for both personal and business needs.
  • The candidate must establish strong client contact routines to proactively build their calendar and the Financial Planner’s calendar while supporting retention activities.
  • The candidate must demonstrate flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a strong drive for success.
  • The candidate must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  • The candidate must have the ability to leverage their own capabilities and those of the right partner in the ecosystem to meet clients’ financial needs.
  • The candidate must have a proven track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial industry.
  • The candidate must have the ability to provide increasingly complex everyday banking, investment, and credit advice for both personal and business clients.
  • The candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge of home equity lending and Linx systems.
