Financial Reporting Analyst Calgary

Apply financial reporting expertise and IFRS knowledge as a Financial Reporting Analyst in Calgary, supporting high-volume corporate accounting activities.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this analyst works closely with Financial Accounting. The position prepares financial statements, MD&A, management reporting, and regulatory filings. It also supports close processes, audits, tax compliance, and accounting standards research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements and MD&A
• Enhance monthly management reporting packages and variance analysis
• Prepare capital entries, schedules, accruals, and cost movements
• Complete external filings, reconciliations, and financial close support
• Support audits, tax compliance, controls, and Qbyte FM optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation and three-plus years of progressive experience
• Strong IFRS and oil and gas accounting knowledge
• High Excel proficiency with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication, organization, integrity, and deadline management
