Financial Services Associate HRM

Serve HRM members through personalized financial solutions at East Coast Credit Union, using relationship building and sound lending judgment. Support everyday banking and personal lending within authorized limits.

As a Financial Services Associate reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will provide member-focused banking and lending support. Your work includes transactions, digital banking assistance, product recommendations, lending interviews, and loan documentation. You will also refer members to specialized colleagues when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and foreign exchange
• Assist with online banking, mobile apps, and e-transfers
• Recommend personal banking products aligned with member financial goals
• Conduct lending interviews and verify credit and personal information
• Approve loans within authority or refer applications appropriately

Requirements:

• Business Administration certificate or diploma
• One to three years of sales and service experience
• Retail banking or financial services experience ideally
• Lending or credit experience considered an asset
• Strong communication, accuracy, discretion, and problem-solving skills
