Financial Services Audit Manager, Canada

Hedge funds. Captive insurance. Alternative investment structures. This is the kind of FS audit file mix usually kept for people working inside a major financial centre, built here around a Canadian harbour city office instead.

This isn't a domestic audit practice that picked up a few offshore clients along the way. It's a sizable, established team built specifically for this book, running for over a decade. The portfolio covers IFRS and US GAAP work for cross-border clients, with real technical range across the Financial Services space.

You'll work directly across 3 partners (across both sides of the Atlantic) depending on your book, in a team small enough that the work is yours to shape. Strategic enough that you're shaping how client relationships develop, not executing someone else's plan. High visibility too!! The kind of direct senior exposure that usually takes years to earn in a larger city or office. Oh, by the way, this role includes travel to Cayman Islands - BONUS!!!

About you:

• Canadian CPA qualified ideally
• Canadian citizenship or existing right to work in Canada is a requirement
• 5+ years external auditing experience gained within a Big Four/Top 10 international accountancy practice
• Solid Financial Services client experience (ideally funds, alternative investments and/or insurance) Captive Insurance experience is a huge bonus!!
• Confidence managing client relationships directly, across a range of seniority levels
