Fintech Portfolio Intelligence Analyst Intern

Analyze fintech portfolios at Portage in Toronto through data analysis and market intelligence. This hybrid internship supports investment teams and transformative financial services companies.

Portage, Sagard’s venture capital arm, seeks a highly analytical undergraduate student for an eight-month internship from January through August 2027. You will support investment operations, portfolio monitoring, research, and presentation development. The work includes collaboration with business, investment, and engineering teams while supporting senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify investment operations pain points with business and investment teams
• Research potential solutions alongside the engineering team
• Collect, organize, analyze, and monitor portfolio company data
• Analyze data and design presentations for research projects
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to senior management

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Interest in financial services and technology
• Strong academic record and attention to detail
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data manipulation skills
• Authorization to work in Canada
