You join a fast-scaling, cutting-edge semiconductor team to develop robust firmware for secure, hardware-backed products. You will contribute across the full lifecycle from pre-silicon validation to post-silicon bring-up, collaborating with hardware and architecture teams to deliver high-quality, secure firmware. The role focuses on ARM Cortex-M platforms, IoT networking, and secure boot capabilities, with impact across defence, government, and critical infrastructure customers. This is an opportunity to shape technology at scale as the company grows toward an IPO, with meaningful ownership and cross-functional impact.
Responsibilities- Design, implement and debug firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and peripherals
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure quality and reliability
- Contribute to pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up activities
- Collaborate with hardware and architecture teams to optimize performance and define specs
- Create secure firmware features including secure boot mechanisms
- Develop well-documented APIs and maintain strong design principles
- Foster knowledge sharing within a collaborative team and integrate IoT/networking stacks
- 5+ years of firmware development experience in embedded systems
- Proven expertise with ARM Cortex-M processors and peripherals
- Experience with firmware unit testing
- Involvement in both pre-silicon and post-silicon development phases
- Strong API/design skills for robust, maintainable code
- Experience with IoT/networking stacks (TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Matter, Thread)
