Overview

You will be the inaugural DevOps expert, shaping the core infra for an AI accelerator. You’ll own cloud and on-prem architectures, implement automation, and set security policies as the sole DevOps trailblazer. Collaborating with hardware and software engineers, you’ll establish best practices and scalable systems from a greenfield starting point. This role offers high impact in a fast-moving environment with minimal red tape. You’ll join a bold team aiming to redefine AI acceleration in London.

Responsibilities
  • Own cloud and on-prem infrastructure and drive end-to-end platform decisions
  • Set up automation and security hardening across environments
  • Implement centralized device management and governance
  • Define and enforce DevOps best practices and playbooks for a growing company
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to scale the AI accelerator
  • Lead infrastructure design in a greenfield environment
  • Reduce friction by building scalable, secure, and observable systems
Key requirements
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes
  • Proven experience with Terraform
  • Strong automation and scripting capabilities
  • Security hardening expertise
  • Experience managing both cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Ability to operate as the sole DevOps owner in a fast-growing startup
