Fixed Income Middle Office Analyst

Support fixed income traders and sales teams at Laurentian Bank Securities while managing reports, settlements, and institutional transaction controls.

As a Middle Office Analyst, you will work under the Senior Manager, Middle Office, supporting institutional divisions across Laurentian Bank Securities. The position combines securities inventory systems, client accounts, trade matching, reconciliations, and reporting. You will collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Finance, traders, sales teams, and other Middle Office colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide internal and self-regulatory organization reports
• Manage BondOne-DSTS, Fidessa, and securities inventory systems
• Update CMBS, NHA MBS, OTV, and inflation-linked securities data
• Resolve unmatched trades, settlement problems, and client requests
• Reconcile daily and monthly institutional activity P&L reporting

Requirements:

• Three to five years of middle or back office experience
• Excellent understanding of fixed income and equity products
• Knowledge of DSTS, Fidessa, Omgeo, Candeal, or Arrow
• Professional ethics, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
• Excel proficiency; VBA knowledge is an asset
