Our client is an established, purpose-driven organization in Surrey looking for a Full-Cycle Accountant who balances technical mastery with a "big picture" mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Strategy: Prepare monthly financial packages for the leadership team; lead forecasting efforts to guide growth.
  • Full-Cycle Mastery: Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, sales entries, and daily cash receipts.
  • Payroll & Compliance: Process payroll, produce detailed reports, and ensure all CRA payments and GST filings are precise and timely.
  • Audit Readiness: Take the lead in prepping for year-end audits, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
  • Business Intelligence: Analyze budgets and provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of current, hands-on Full-Cycle Accounting experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA Track: Current enrollment in the CPA program is considered a strong asset.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ADP etc.) and Excel.
  • Reliability: Comfortable working 100% on-site in the Surrey office.
