Flutter Engineer - Banking

Act as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital on Tap, shaping backend services for the Banking and Repayments platform while contributing to mobile developments. You will own end-to-end delivery from design to production, collaborate with product and design, and help advance our hybrid mobile strategy. This high-impact role sits at the core of SME banking products, including open banking repayments and ClearBank-related workflows. You’ll work in a cross-functional, autonomous environment with a strong emphasis on engineering excellence and scalable systems.

• Design and build robust backend services in C#/.NET for Banking and Repayments
• Own full SDLC from feature inception to production and monitoring
• Contribute to mobile development across iOS/Android using Flutter, Kotlin, and/or Swift
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA from early shaping to delivery
• Write thorough unit and integration tests and uphold high engineering standards
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements across the team
• Bridge technical decisions with business goals cross-functionally

• Strong back-end engineering experience, ideally in C#/.NET
• Mobile development experience in Flutter/Dart, Kotlin, or Swift (firm requirement)
• Solid testing practice across unit and integration testing
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as CodeMagic or similar
