Forward Deployed AI Architect

Shape production AI architecture with Chalk using strong Python, SQL, and systems judgment across customer environments. Work spans models and agents.

As a Forward Deployed Strategist, you will direct Chalk integrations from discovery through live accounts. You will advise engineering teams, design solutions, and define standards for correctness, latency, and cost. The work includes customer architecture, migrations, POCs, and agentic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run technical discovery across customer systems and delivery plans
• Advise architecture, migration paths, sequencing, and technical fit
• Design Chalk solutions and define correctness, latency, and cost standards
• Design safe agents evaluated against production context
• Scope POCs, coordinate owners, dates, and delivery handoffs

Requirements:

• Depth in production infrastructure and live-traffic failure modes
• Experience advising teams on systems you did not build
• Strong Python and SQL for prototypes and implementations
• Technical judgment and willingness to challenge flawed plans
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, storytelling, and analytical skills
