Overview

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you embed with client teams to deploy and operationalize scalable AI platforms in real enterprises. You own production outcomes—value, reliability, adoption, and scale—beyond milestones. You translate platform capability into business impact, shaping AI use cases and roadmaps. You’ll work across multi-provider AI ecosystems and help build reusable patterns that clients own after you leave. This role sits at the core of Accenture’s Reinvention Deployment Engineering, tackling hard enterprise AI problems.

Responsibilities
  • Embed with client engineering and business teams to deploy and scale AI platforms inside enterprises
  • Own end-to-end production outcomes with business metrics
  • Prototype quickly from problem statement to production-ready system
  • Design and govern AI architectures across identity, data, security, governance, platform, and workflows
  • Translate technical architecture into business impact for C-suite stakeholders
  • Create reusable patterns, playbooks, and accelerators for client use after engagement ends
  • Lead design workshops, proofs of concept, architecture reviews, and collaborative sessions
  • Codify patterns and learnings to scale across engagements and grow the FDE practice
Key requirements
  • Engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless)
  • Experience designing and deploying agentic solutions (agents, orchestration, RAG, workflows) in production
  • Strong experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, open-source models) including multi-provider pipelines
  • Very strong experience deploying to production, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), monitoring, and debugging
  • Demonstrated end-to-end delivery ownership in client-embedded environments
  • Proven ability to articulate business value and quantify deployment impact for executives
  • Experience presenting to senior client stakeholders (CTO, CFO, CISO)
  • Non-linear profiles welcomed; assessment based on deployment experience and outcomes
