Overview

As a Software Engineer focused on Applied AI, you will shape enterprise AI workflows in North by designing and delivering LLM-powered agents. You collaborate with customers to translate complex problems into actionable agentic solutions and ensure reliability, observability, and security from prototype to production. You’ll contribute across the North platform, bridging customer needs with engineering execution. This role offers the chance to impact enterprise AI adoption at scale within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Responsibilities
  • Translate high-value business problems into well-framed agentic workflows with clear success criteria
  • Lead the design, build, and delivery of LLM-powered agents across tools, APIs, and data sources
  • Develop features for North across the full product lifecycle from concept to production
  • Own end-to-end use cases, pivoting into necessary technical areas (including frontend) to maximize impact
  • Contribute to shared frameworks and patterns for consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Drive clarity in ambiguity and raise engineering quality across the organization
  • Travel up to 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade software in Python
  • Experience deploying RAG and agentic applications with multi-step task planning (e.g., ReAct, Plan-and-Execute)
  • Strong familiarity with the LLM stack, including frontier models, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks
  • Proven ability to build robust evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy, safety, and latency
  • Experience with direct customer engagement and translating business needs into technical specs
  • Experience owning end-to-end use cases
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel 20–40%
