Overview
In this role you embed with enterprise customers to design, build, deploy, and operate AI-powered production systems. You collaborate with customer teams to translate business needs into technical AI-driven solutions, delivering end-to-end software within a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. You mentor peers, codify reusable patterns, and drive adoption of AI across engagements. You thrive on complex problems, strong operational excellence, and shaping the architecture for scalable, production-ready AI systems.
Responsibilities- Embed within customer engineering teams and translate business needs into technical designs for AI-enabled production systems
- Build production-grade software powering AI workflows including retrieval pipelines, automation, and API orchestration
- Own the full software lifecycle for your workstream: scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, operations, maintenance
- Troubleshoot production incidents across AI models, distributed systems, and services; implement monitoring, guardrails, and CI/CD
- Mentor and train new team members; contribute to code reviews with thoughtful feedback
- Identify opportunities to accelerate customer AI adoption and codify reusable patterns for future deployments
- 3+ years of non-internship software development experience
- 2+ years in Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with agentic and spec-driven development (AI agents a plus)
- Experience with AI tools: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
