Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bridge domain teams and data/AI capabilities to deliver usable Palantir Foundry solutions. You rapidly prototype, iterate, and productionize data and analytics applications that support operational decision-making. You’ll work cross-functionally to align value, scope, and delivery while emphasizing user workflows and durable production systems. This role blends software, data engineering, and product thinking to turn high-value problems into repeatable, measurable outcomes. You’ll join a mission-driven team applying Foundry to real-world challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Embed with domain teams to understand workflows, define success criteria, and lead discovery from prototype to production
  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end Palantir Foundry solutions (pipelines, ontology, applications) for operational analytics
  • Ingest, transform, and model data with quality checks to support analytics and applications
  • Develop user-facing applications and integrate with upstream/downstream systems; monitor and improve production deployments
  • Partner with product, data science, governance, and platform teams to align scope and delivery
  • Create reusable templates and patterns; mentor teammates and contribute to internal playbooks and standards
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry deploying solutions (pipelines, ontology, apps, access controls)
  • History of delivering software/data/analytics products in fast-paced, user-facing settings with rapid prototyping to production
  • Strong programming skills across data and application layers
  • Excellent user empathy, ability to clarify requirements, and deliver iteratively
